Red Bull Racing is enjoying a successful period in Formula 1. Last season, it already managed to clinch the world title with Max Verstappen, while this racing year it even won both championships. For Helmut Marko, however, Red Bull's project is far from finished.

"Our success speaks for itself. Nobody needs to worry that Red Bull will disappear from Formula 1 in the near future," he stressed in an interview with Sport Bild. "We are far from finished with our mission. We want to win more races and titles."

Marko speaks proudly of Red Bull's employees. According to the team's consultant, the Austrian formation has "smart employees" who do not need a meeting to think creatively about the solutions needed. That would ensure Red Bull's success.

Marko sees biggest rival in Mercedes

This calendar year, Ferrari was Red Bull's main challenger, but Marko expects that to change in 2023. This is because Mercedes is quite on the way back and, with Lewis Hamilton, has a driver in the house who feels he still has something to put right.

Marko therefore thinks that the Germans will come back strong and with Hamilton next year they will have a shot at the world title. In doing so, he does not fear stiff competition. "I am not worried. We are on the right track for 2023 and with Max we have the best driver on the grid."
