McLaren confident in Ricciardo: 'Feedback not so much different'

Daniel Ricciardo is having another difficult season at McLaren. The previously high expectations have still not been met by the Australian, so all eyes are on him. Andreas Seidl has not noticed the situation during the development of the car, he tells Racer.

The racing teams have a lot of information at their disposal in this day and age. Every week they collect a lot of data that the people within the team can use. However, according to Seidl, there are more ways to find out the areas of improvement of the car.

"Also driver feedback, in order to understand the limitation for a driver regarding going faster," Seidl says. "In terms of the feedback we are getting from both of our guys, Lando and Daniel, it’s not so much different regarding the limitations they feel from our car. I wouldn’t say that this is an issue."

Ricciardo continues to help McLaren with developments

Seidl sees that Ricciardo is still doing his utmost to help McLaren perform well and is therefore confident that he will continue to do so until the end of the season. The driver still has a contract that runs until the end of 2023.
