Sergio Perez has had a disappointing weekend. In the free practice he was unable to perform well and also in the qualifying he had a bad weekend. With an eleventh place on the grid, a top-five finish looks unlikely, as the Mexican knows.

Times have changed rapidly for Perez this season. Whereas a few race weekends ago he was slowly dreaming of a battle for the world title with Max Verstappen, just before the summer break he has to pull out all the stops not to lose his third place in the world championship.
