Kimi Raikkonen will be reunited with his old F1 colleagues at a charity football match later this month, set to be held in the build-up to the 2022 Monaco Grand Prix. Raikkonen will join Sebastian Vettel, Charles Leclerc, Max Verstappen and Fernando Alonso in a team of F1 drivers as they take on a mix of footballers and celebrities at the 'Star Team for the Children' event. The match will be held at Monaco's Stade Louis II on 24 May, with former Juventus midfielder Oscar Damiani given the task of managing the team of motor racing stars.

Which F1 drivers will take part?

There will be 14 of the current F1 grid present at the match, including World Championship title protagonists Verstappen and Leclerc. Alonso, Vettel, Pierre Gasly, Esteban Ocon, Daniel Ricciardo, Sergio Perez, Carlos Sainz, Valterri Bottas, Lance Stroll, George Russell, Kevin Magnussen and Mick Schumacher are poised to join them. Icons of the past and drivers from other categories are set to be woven amongst them, with Nico Rosberg, Mika Hakkinen, Felipe Massa, Giancarlo Fisichella, Robert Kubica, Stoffel Vandoorne, Nico Hulkenberg, Daniil Kvyat and Jerome D'Ambrosio all playing.
