Max Verstappen was the big winner of the weekend at the Miami Grand Prix. He also came in the Formula 1 Power Rankings as the winner.

The jury of the F1 Power Rankings gives points to the drivers after each race without looking at the material they have at their disposal. This one saw Verstappen perform ironclad again in the United States and therefore could do nothing but give the reigning world champion a 9.2.

"The Dutchman nailed it on Sunday, though, leaping off the line to pry P2 off Carlos Sainz and then passing Charles Leclerc soon afterwards. A late Safety Car did little to rattle the reigning champion," the analysis reads. Alexander Albon and Charles Leclerc follow him with a 9.0 and 8.8 respectively. Lewis Hamilton is provisionally fourth with a one-point deficit to Leclerc.

Verstappen continues to lead the standings

It means that Verstappen is still at the top of the rankings with an average of 9.1, followed by Leclerc with 8.8. Because of Albon's good score, he rises no less than three places and is below the two top drivers. Kevin Magnussen, on the other hand, made a free fall in the rankings and went from fifth to eighth place.
