Lewis Hamilton proved unapproachable throughout the weekend in Brazil. The Mercedes driver came through like a rocket in the sprint race on Saturday, and dominantly won the Grand Prix on Sunday from the tenth starting position. But what do the Formula 1 Power Rankings think?

The rules of the Power Rankings are slightly different than the normal rules. A victory does not necessarily mean that a driver also ends up at the top of the Power Rankings, as several factors are taken into account.

However, nothing could stop Hamilton from a perfect ten. " Hamilton experienced one of his strongest weekends ever in Sao Paulo," reads the caption. "A five-place grid penalty was compounded by a disqualification on Saturday. What followed was an astonishing overtaking race by the defending champion."

Max Verstappen doesn't get a prefect score, but still finishes a fine second in both the race and the Power Rankings. "Verstappen has been driving consistently at a high level all season, but this weekend his Red Bull team boss Christian Horner deemed the Mercedes "unraceable". Verstappen defended grimly, however, but ultimately had to lose out to the insurmountable pace of his rival Hamilton."

Apart from the title rivals, Pierre Gasly and Charles Leclerc managed to impress a lot. They shared third place and received an 8.2 for their efforts in Brazil.
