The international media are again praising Max Verstappen after the Mexican Grand Prix. The Dutchman hit his most important blow in the first corner, although some media have the idea that this was a gift from Valtteri Bottas.

Sky Sports: Verstappen dominates and increases lead over Hamilton

Sky Sports saw no problem with Verstappen's dominant win: 'Verstappen made light work of the Valtteri Bottas-Hamilton front row by impressively slipstreaming past both on an outside line at the start, decisively claiming a lead he never relinquished outside of the pit stops. Hamilton just held off Mexico's own Sergio Perez, Verstappen's team-mate, for second place against a clearly-faster race car but first and third still represented a big comeback result for Red Bull after they were surprisingly out-qualified by Mercedes," the British website said.

AS: A masterpiece

The Spanish AS.com talks about a masterclass from Verstappen: 'Verstappen smiled: he won at Hermanos Rodríguez after a masterpiece at the start and scored seven points ahead of Sir Lewis. Checo completed the podium at home.'

La Gazzetta dello Sport: Verstappen overwhelms Mercedes

The pink newspaper from Italy has nothing but praise for the Dutchman: 'Red Bull's Dutchman dominated the 18th round of the World Championship ahead of Lewis and Perez. Fourth Gasly ahead of the Monegasque's reds and Sainz.'

L'Equipe: Verstappen helped by Bottas' aspirations

According to the French L'Equipe 'Verstappen was helped into the lead at the first corner by Valtteri Bottas, as he tried to close the door on Lewis Hamilton, but instead opened it for Verstappen: 'Then Max Verstappen, helped by the gift of Valtteri Bottas, rose to the level of the two Mercedes. Lewis Hamilton was off quicker than his teammate, he was unable to take advantage of the slipstream. In the duel between the three drivers, the Dutchman went on the outside and thanks to late braking he got hold of the Silver Arrow and took the lead. The race was finished immediately.'

Marca: Comfortable and unattractive win for Verstappen

The Spanish Marca saw a dominant Verstappen, but the race was not enjoyed in Spain: 'Comfortable and unattractive win for Max in Mexico after he took advantage of Bottas' gift at the start. The World Championship is clear'
