With only six races left in the 2021 F1 season, the end is in sight. Between those six races, there are still two events where F1 hasn't been before. The GP of Saudi Arabia is new on the calendar and will be held in front of full grandstands.

Full grandstands in Jeddah

In addition to the Qatar GP which was added to the calendar midway through this season, the Saudi Arabia GP is also a newcomer to the calendar. The circuit, built along the coast of the coastal city of Jeddah, was initially only allowed to sell forty percent of its spectator capacity in tickets.

Following the change in Covid-19 measures in the kingdom, it is now possible for the event to sell one hundred percent of the tickets. The penultimate race of the season will be a very exciting weekend given the current standings between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton.

The organisers of the event had previously indicated that they were not waiting for a place at the back of the calendar, as the battle is often already decided then. That does not seem to be the case now. The eventual crucial race in the championship could unfold in front of a large crowd.
