Charles Leclerc has been driving a Ferrari for a few years now and so far he has performed more than adequately. During the weekend at Silverstone, he even fought for the win for a long time. Still, he is not the only Leclerc who is racing at the moment.

His little brother Arthur Leclerc is currently impressing in Formula 3 and, like Leclerc, also drives for the Ferrari Driver Academy. According to CNN Leclerc says he is happy to see his brother so happy and performing well.

"I'm just really happy to see him doing so well. I really hope he will join me on the Formula 1 grid soon, but it's still a long way to go."

Charles worried about little brother

The Monegasque says he is very tense and has all sorts of scenarios playing out in his head when he sees his little brother racing. Including the not so best scenarios. As a result, he doesn't look too relaxed watching Arthur's laps. "I'm ten times more stressed when he's racing compared to when I'm racing because when I have the helmet on I don't think about the danger of the sport. But when I see him from the outside, I start thinking about all the bad scenarios that could happen."

Yet even his little brother knows that he can turn to his now experienced brother for help and advice. "If he needs help, he knows I'm there for him and that he can always call me, but mostly we just talk about our lives, like normal brothers do."

Who knows, in a few years Charles and Arthur Leclerc might be racing together in Formula 1. For now, for Arthur Leclerc, that seems to be a while away.
