Max Verstappen and Red Bull Racing were the favourites ahead of the weekend in Baku. After the victory in Monaco, the driver and his team also lead the Formula 1 championship and they would like to keep that spot. The question is, will it be possible in the streets of Baku?

Red Bull the favourite in Baku?

The Azerbaijan Grand Prix has often been a track that Mercedes did well on. With a long straight of no less than 2.2km the powerful Mercedes engine comes in handy and often leaves the competition behind. Honda are closer this year though, and over the rest of the lap Red Bull Racing have the advantage.

In the second free practice session, we will be able to see the real proportions. The practice session will be held at the same time as qualifying and the race, so conditions should be similar.
