Former Williams driver and 1996 F1 world champion Damon Hill was left unimpressed by Yuki Tsunoda's criticisms of the AlphaTauri team in Spain. After enduring a tough Spanish Grand Prix weekend that ultimately saw him retire due to a mechanical failure, Japanese driver Tsunoda was highly critical of the Faenza-based outfit hinting that the equipment given to him is not the same as teammate Pierre Gasly's. Hill thinks comments such as those might harm Tsunoda's future F1 prospects. "If you're in F3 or F2 and you're paying you can actually criticize (the team)," Hill said on the F1 Nation podcast. "But when you're in F1 you're not often paying for your drive you're actually working for these guys. He overstepped the line didn't he and he got a bit of a ticking off from both Martin (Brundle) and Jenson (Button) saying that is not how you behave in F1. "It's different now and there's so much more to learn. Once you get to f1 It's a lot of little life lessons, it is not just about driving anymore." After his fantastic debut in Bahrain Tsunoda has somewhat struggled to replicate his form from the first round of the season. The Japanese driver has made a series of mistakes and his radio messages indicate that there is a lot of frustration underneath his helmet.
