Last week you got off to a good start with the first edition of 'Which circuit is shown here'. It was indeed the circuit of Spa-Francorchamps. Of course an easy one to start with, but which circuit is shown here anyway?
Do you know this circuit?
The circuit for the second round is located in a country to the west of the United Kingdom and is since a few years back on the Formula 1 calendar. The circuit was named after two brothers who both died in a racing car. The circuit has seventeen bends and has been back on the Formula 1 calendar since 2015.
It was not the first time that this circuit was seen in Formula 1, because between 1986 and 1992 there were already races on this circuit. In those seven years it was Alain Prost who won the most wins, whereas since 2015 it was mainly Mercedes and Max Verstappen on top of this circuit.
