Racing Point have confirmed that simulation driver Nick Yelloly will drive for the team in the post-Spanish Grand Prix test next week.

Yelloly last drove a Formula 1 car back in 2015, driving for Force India (previous name of Racing Point). The British driver will RP19 on both days of the Barcelona test on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.

Sergio Perez and Lance Stroll will each get a day of driving in the tests as well - with the focus on Pirelli development work. Yelloly has moved away from single-seaters since his previous F1 drive.

The 28-year-old has been trying his arm at sportscar racing, finishing second-place in the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany in 2017, and then he finished in the same position in the F1-supporting Porsche Supercup series in 2018.
