Force India were a team in turmoil in 2018 after they went into administration until Lawrence Stroll saved the constructors and renamed them Racing Point but Andy Green believes normality has been restored around the new team, Racing Point.

Sergio Perez took the team into administration and had all of their points wiped as they were officially a new team when Lawrence Stroll took over. Stroll has since replaced Mercedes reserve driver Esteban Ocon with his son Lance Stroll with Perez keeping his spot.

Despite a rough 2018 Green, their technical director believes they’ll see a gradual growth over the next season and their workforce is bigger than before.

"The Force India had 400 employees, now we are already 425 with the aim of hiring another 50 people by the end of 2019,” Green revealed.

“But we must find the right people and invest in machinery and facilities to give the necessary tools to new purchases.

“Before we had to think about keeping the team alive, we can now concentrate on making the car faster.”

Green did admit that it will take time and expects bigger progress in 2020: "It takes time to turn the money available in a fast car, I expect a big step forward in 2020.”
