Former Sauber driver Marcus Ericsson is all set for his new adventure in IndyCar, as the Swede revealed his new working clothes for the Arrow Schmidt Peterson Motorsports team.

The team revealed its new line-up of Ericsson and James Hinchcliffe yesterday in Denver, Colorado, as well as the black and yellow livery of the Dallara-Honda car.

Ericsson drove with #9 on his car in Formula 1 but will switch to #7 in IndyCar, as he’s set to make his debut in March in Saint Petersburg, Florida.

The 28-year-old revealed his preference of driving in IndyCar as soon as he found out he wouldn’t be driving in F1 in 2019.

"When I got the news I was not continuing in F1 I looked at other options and IndyCar was something I had followed for many years and the series has got a lot of momentum, great drivers and teams," Ericsson was quoted by F1i.com.

"It was a series I was interested in. I got in touch with SPM and we went from there, it's been super exciting joining the team and being made to feel welcome.

"Everything is new, not only the team but the tracks and the country. I have great team-mates and people I can lean on.

"James is an awesome guy, very experienced too. I've asked him a lot of things about driving the car, also Robbie [Wickens] about IndyCar and they're helping me get up to speed."

Welcome to the Arrow Schmidt Peterson Motorsports team, Marcus Ericsson! We look forward to the kicking off the 2019 IndyCar Series season with these two incredible drivers in March. See you @gpstpete. #ArrowDriven @SPMIndyCar @hinchtown @Ericsson_Marcus #indycar pic.twitter.com/6QSqqYIsia
