The Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez circuit, host of the Formula One's Mexican Grand Prix, has been confirmed as the venue for the 2019 Race of Champions, as the event will be held in January of next year.

The circuit for the Race of Champions will be built in the stadium-like 'Foro Sol' section of the Grand Prix-circuit, as the even will take place on Saturday January 19th and Sunday 20th. The ROC Nations Cup will be held on the Saturday as two drivers from each country battle it out to determine who will be the 'World's Fastest Nation', and the Race of Champions itself will be on Sunday, where drivers battle for their own glory rather than their country's glory.

Mexico will be the first Latin American nation to host the event, and no drivers have been announced yet to be competing in it. Previous winners include the likes of Sebastian Vettel, Juan Pablo Montoya, Sebastien Loeb and David Coulthard.
