Lack of engine oil could ruin practice for Renault & McLaren
Of all the problems that could possibly happen, you wouldn't expect this one! Renault and McLaren's engine oil has been delayed in transportation. The shipping was delayed because of the typhoon, and now it's stuck in customs in Tokyo.
For McLaren, well when it rains, it pours! But Renault could be in trouble as missing Friday practice could be disastrous for their fourth place battle against Haas.
Red Bull, the third team to run with Renault engines, aren't affected because they use a different brand. This all according to Auto Motor Und Sport.
Renault & McLaren still waiting for engine oil (Castrol). Shipping had been delayed by the typhoon. Now it seems to be stuck in customs at Tokyo. No running on Friday if it doesn't arrive in time. Red Bull not affected as they are using Exxon/Mobil.#AMuS #JapaneseGP #Suzuka #F1
