Sergio Perez says he has multiple options available to him for the 2019 Formula One season. Perez was recently part of the group that forced Force India into administration in order to save the team, but Lawrence Stroll's funding backed by a consortium has put Perez's future with the team in doubt.

According to gpfans.com, Perez is looking at several different options outside of his current team. Seats at Sauber, Williams and Haas are all free and a realistic possibility for the Mexican.

"I'm lucky enough to have a couple of options," he said.

"Obviously we all want to be driving in the top two teams, Ferrari or Mercedes.

"But it's very unlikely that I'll have an opportunity there for next year, so you have to look at what is the best option for your future where you can show your best talents.

"The last two years, the best of the rest in the drivers' championship. I just want to see what's possible for next year, which teams have a vacancy, and then decide.

"I will definitely wait to see what happens here, because I believe this team has the most potential of anyone out there out of the top three teams."

Lance Stroll is extremely likely to follow his father's money to the Force India team. Also rumoured to be a potential move for Stroll is to bring Robert Kubica with him to the team which would mean both Force India drivers would be without a team for 2019 despite several seats being available.
