Kimi Raikkonen says that it's not just one factor that is responsible for Ferrari's title charge this season.

Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton is just one of the people who have pointed the finger at Ferrari's power unit for their really strong performances before the summer break.

Toto Wolff said that Ferrari had a 0.4 second advantage on his Mercedes team in the first sector of the Hungaroring.

Ferrari are a lot more competitive this season with the dominant Mercedes than they have been in recent years; 34 points closer to Mercedes than they were at this stage of the season, last year.

The Italians have definitely improved this season and their driver, Kimi Raikkonen puts their improvement down to "a combination of many things".

"We have a decent car, we keep improving things," the Finn told RaceFans.net.

"It's a lot to do with the feel, how you feel the car and tyres and all these things.

"Obviously some circuits are better, some conditions are better for one team than other, and I think we've been pretty okay most of the places. I think a lot of things will be falling in the right places."

Mercedes have had the upper hand in recent races, with Lewis Hamilton being victorious in the last couple of races and Raikkonen believes that his Ferrari side still have a lot of room for improvement.

"There's still things to improve for us as a whole team, but that's never-ending," Raikkonen added.

"It doesn't matter, even if you win all of the races, there's always things to improve. That kind of area in this sport will never stop and I don't think you are ever good enough in many ways."
