RUMOUR: Stroll looking at McLaren and Force India for 2019

Lance Stroll and his father Lawrence are browsing the F1 for a new seat next year, according to German news source Motorsport-Total, and the two main candidates for the Canadian are McLaren and Force India.

Williams have taken a nosedive this year in terms of performance, with the British team certainly not being part of the midfield anymore and often being the slowest car on the grid.

That's why Lawrence Stroll, father of Lance and billionaire, is already looking at other teams to put his son, should Williams show no signs of improvement. According to Motorsport-Total, those teams are Force India and McLaren.

It's no coincidence that these two names are the ones that popped up. Both teams are struggling to make ends meet financially, and Stroll, while not being the most mercurial driver the world has ever seen, does bring a lot of money with him. In the end, F1 is about money, which is a harsh reality.
