Vasseur offers explanation for Ferrari’s disastrous qualifying result at Imola
On the back of Ferrari’s worst ever qualifying result at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari, the Scuderia’s team boss Fred Vasseur has offered an explanation for the disastrous showing from the Maranello-based outfit, Although Ferrari looked fairly competitive in the third and final practice at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, the Scuderia recorded its worst ever qualifying result at Imola. Both drivers made it through the first part using just one set of Soft tyres, although Leclerc and Hamilton had fitted a second set of the same compound, planning to go quicker.
