Ex-F1 star joins Button and Raikkonen in NASCAR

Article To news overview © XPBimages Kamui Kobayashi has been announced as a NASCAR Cup Series driver for a one-off event, which will be the Japanese driver's debut in the series. The Le Mans 24 Hour winner will participate in round 24 of the season, the 'Verizon 200 at the Brickyard', which takes place at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course on 13th August. Kobayashi, who is a driver and the current Team Principal of the Toyota World Endurance Championship team, will continue his long association with the Japanese marque by competing in the one-off race.
