Sargeant triggers critical FP3 red flag as rain threatens

Article To news overview © XPBimages Logan Sargeant's torrid start to life in F1 has continued with a crash in final practice for the Spanish Grand Prix. The American lost control of his Williams when hitting the kerb on the inside of the final corner, skittling across the gravel and into the tyre wall lining the circuit. His car suffered damage to the left-hand side and triggered red flags 10 minutes into the session. The crash came at a critical time of the session where all drivers were circulating to gather data before Parc Fermé conditions are implemented ahead of qualifying, with the threat of rain looming.
