Christian Horner breaks silence on Elon Musk's plan to buy F1
Red Bull team principal Christian Horner believes it would be 'great' if Tesla and Twitter founder Elon Musk got involved in Formula 1, with the Briton noting how Musk's 'talent' would be brilliant for the new power unit regulations in 2026. Musk was in attendance at the recent Miami Grand Prix where he was spotted in Red Bull's garage and hospitality, with a photo of the tech billionaire and reigning World Champion Max Verstappen having circulated on social media. Musk was also seen in conversation with FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem as well as with Horner, where he challenged Red Bull to a race with one of his electric cars.
