New F1 team in the making: founder BAR has signed up for 2026
Another new team is set to compete in Formula 1 from 2026. In an interview with CNN Craig Pollock confirmed that he has been laying the groundwork for his own F1 team in recent years. The British businessman wants his team - called Formula Equal - to be able to take to the track from 2026. Article continues under ad The FIA had earlier this year offered the opportunity for new teams to apply for 2025, 2026 or 2027. Besides Pollock, Andretti-Cadillac had also announced its intention to apply.
