Alonso coy over Aston Martin Jeddah pace

Fernando Alonso said he has 'no idea' as to the pace of Aston Martin in Jeddah Fernando Alonso is keeping his cards close to his chest with regard to the pace of his Aston Martin around the Jeddah Corniche Circuit. Alonso finished second quickest following the two Friday practice sessions ahead of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, just two-tenths of a second adrift of reigning champion Max Verstappen in his Red Bull. The performance of the two-time F1 champion further underlined the fact Aston Martin has made significant progress this term after Alonso finished third in the season-opening race in Bahrain a fortnight ago.
