When he was brought into Formula 1 back in 2021 by AlphaTauri, Yuki Tsunoda initially struggled to adapt to life at the pinnacle of motorsport. The Japanese driver made a flurry of mistakes right at the start of his F1 career as a result of pushing past him limits and could often be heard shouting and swearing over the team radio. AlphaTauri chose to relocate their driver from Milton Keynes to Italy, a decision which saw Tsunoda’s performances improve drastically.
