WATCH: How is carbon fibre made for F1 cars?

It's main advantage is strength over weight, providing drivers with a crucial safety system while also being light enough to give performance. Mercedes Composites Manufacturing Engineer, Oliver Jones, talks through the process of creating carbon fibre before it ends up making its way on an F1 car. Check out the video below.
