Sauber announces 'important milestone' ahead of 2026 changes
Article To news overview © Audi Sport Sauber has announced that Audi has acquired a minority stake in the company, ahead of their planned takeover in 2026. In a statement the team confirmed the German company's involvement, with Sauber set to be a "strategic partner" in the future. "The Sauber Group is pleased to announce that, as per the plans outlined in October last year, Audi acquired a minority stake in the Sauber Group in January 2023," the statement reads.
