Fred Vasseur reveals Mattia Binotto talks amid Ferrari handover

The 2022 season ended with a small victory for Ferrari, as the team managed to hold off a late advance from Mercedes to secure second place in the constructors’ championship. Charles Leclerc’s ability to beat Sergio Perez in Abu Dhabi also means he secured the runner up spot in the drivers’ championship, but the team would have hoped for more. The Scuderia started the season on fire, building up a healthy lead over Max Verstappen and Red Bull in both championships in the early stages.
