Haas were relieved to have returned to the points places in 2022, following what was a horrific 2021 campaign. The American side famously carried their 2020 car over to 2021, with the outfit having put all their focus onto the new aerodynamic regulations that were introduced this season. With that in mind, it was no shock to the team that they were at the foot of the field at every single race in 2021 and, crucially, failed to score a single point.
