Gasly on penalty points: I'm not the only one in trouble

Article To news overview © XPBimages Pierre Gasly has warned that the current rules for Formula 1 superlicence penalty points could lead to more drivers receiving race bans. The Frenchman accumulated 10 penalty points on his superlicence in 2022, with 12 the threshold to trigger a one-race ban. Under the current rules drivers have to wait for 12 months before each point expires, and Gasly's next points are not set to expire until May 2023.
