Daniel Ricciardo returns to Red Bull as third driver for 2023

Just two days after the chequered flag fell at the season-closing Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Red Bull has confirmed that Daniel Ricciardo will return to the Milton Keynes-based squad as the third driver for the 2023 F1 season. Ricciardo first competed in Formula One in 2011 with HRT, then moved on to Toro Rosso for the next two seasons before joining Red Bull as team mate of Sebastian Vettel. This five-year stint with the Austrian-Anglo outfit saw the Australian driver score his maiden victory at the 2014 Canadian Grand Prix and score six further wins.
