Kevin Magnussen breaks silence on Mick Schumacher axing

Mick Schumacher is aiming to 'prove' Haas wrong, following on from it being announced that he will be replaced by Nico Hulkenberg next season. It was widely speculated that the 23-year-old wouldn't be retained for next season, with Haas deciding not to extend his contract, which expires at the end of 2022. The American side have clearly opted for experience over youth, with Hulkenberg being one of the most experienced drivers in the paddock. Whilst he hasn't raced full-time since 2019, the fact he's raced for multiple teams is a huge bonus, according to Guenther Steiner, with the German having been able to work successfully in multiple setups.
