Alonso vows to 'take care' of Vettel at start of final race

Fernando Alonso says he'll make sure to have Sebastian Vettel's back at the start of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, with the hope that his fellow F1 veteran and himself finish their final race together. Alonso and Vettel have fought each other in F1 for well over a decade, but for both drivers Sunday's curtain closer at Yas Marina will hold a special significance. While the race will bookend Vettel's 15-year career as a Grand Prix driver, the event will also mark Alonso's last race with Alpine, with the Spaniard moving on to Aston Martin next season.
