Red Bull development rate a shock for Ferrari

Ewan Gale Friday 7 October 2022 17:46 Carlos Sainz has claimed Red Bull has managed to develop the RB18 more than Ferrari expected would be plausible within F1's budget cap. Red Bull is awaiting the findings of the cap's policing process to find out whether there has been a material breach of the financial regulations. The certificates of compliance were scheduled to be released on Wednesday ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix weekend, only for the FIA to push the date back until the Monday after the race.
