Mick Schumacher in straight fight with Nico Hulkenberg for Haas seat

Mick Schumacher is reportedly now only facing competition from Nico Hulkenberg for the remaining Haas seat next year. Schumacher came into the season having achieved a best finish of P13 in his rookie season with a Haas team who had put all of their focus on 2022. He was joined by Kevin Magnussen after Nikita Mazepin was dismissed amid Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and the Dane has scored points five times so far this season. Two of those arrived in the first two rounds of the season in Bahrain and Jeddah, but it took Schumacher until the 10th round of the season to score his first championship points.
