Perez keeps Singapore Grand Prix win after stewards investigation
Article To news overview © XPBimages Sergio Perez has kept his Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix win after the stewards issued him with a reprimand and single time penalty for Safety Car infringements. Perez's win was in doubt at Marina Bay after falling more than 10 car lengths - twice - behind the Safety Car, with Ferrari boss Mattia Binotto saying he expected a penalty for the Mexican. However, in a ruling issued at 01:42am Monday morning local time, the stewards decided to slap Perez with a five-second time penalty and one reprimand. As he finished 7.5s clear of Charles Leclerc, he keeps the win. Viewed by others: Sergio Perez Perez: Last few laps of Singapore GP 'intense' Singapore...
