Perez: Last few laps of Singapore GP "intense"
Article To news overview © Getty Images / Red Bull Content Pool Sergio Perez says the last few laps of the Singapore Grand Prix were "intense" as he fought off Charles Leclerc for his first victory in 2022. The Ferrari driver managed to close the gap after the final Safety Car period brought out by Yuki Tsunoda, but he struggled to get past despite catching him in the latter part of the lap. It also took a long time before DRS was activated due to the conditions, however Perez was able to manage the gap in what he describes as his "best performance" in Formula 1. "Certainly I think my best my best performance, I controlled the race" he told media....
