Perez stresses: 'My team did a fantastic job'

Sergio Perez could be very pleased with his performance after qualifying at the Singapore Grand Prix. The Mexican picked up the second fastest time and will therefore be right behind Charles Leclerc at the start of the race on Sunday. Article continues under ad While Max Verstappen had to abort his lap due to too little fuel in his car, Perez was able to set a good time. During free practice, it looked like he would have a tough time in Singapore, but nothing could be further from the truth. With only a difference of two hundredths from Leclerc's time, he will start Sunday on the second row of the grid, alongside Lewis Hamilton.
