This is why Verstappen was not allowed to finish his lap

Max Verstappen looked set to grab pole position in Singapore, but the Dutchman had to abort his closing lap. It is now known why race engineer Gianpiero Lambiase did not allow Verstappen to finish his lap. The Red Bull Racing driver had possibly had too little fuel in his tank when finishing his lap.
