Daniel Ricciardo hilariously distracts George Russell during interview
George Russell made a strong start to the first Singapore Grand Prix since 2019, despite appearing to be unhappy with the behaviour of the car. The Brit ended the opening day in third place, just over three-tenths behind the day's pacesetter Carlos Sainz. Mercedes appear much stronger this weekend at the Marina Bay Circuit than they did at the recent Italian Grand Prix, with Sir Lewis Hamilton having topped FP1, the first time he's topped a session all season. Russell had several lockups across the opening day and did well not to hit the wall at what was formerly known as the Singapore sling chicane.
