Perez sees fine situation for Red Bull: 'It has been good for us'
Formula 1 drivers are preparing behind the scenes for next week's Singapore Grand Prix. In doing so, Sergio Perez liked the fact that there has been no race weekend in the past few weeks, he said in an interview with Fox Sports. Article continues under ad The GP of Russia was actually supposed to be on show this weekend, but the Russian invasion of Ukraine changed that. Formula 1 decided to scrap the race weekend, bringing the number of GPs in 2022 from 23 to 22. It means drivers will have an extra weekend off to rest.
