Tech Draft: 2022/23 F1 Technical Regulations laid bare
As discussed in yesterday’s offering of Tech Draft, not only did the FIA World Motor Sport Council ratify the 2026 Formula 1 Power Unit Regulations on Tuesday, but also amendments to the 2022 and 2023 F1 Technical Regulations were announced. The changes were many and varied and once again even though many might disapprove of their necessity and the way in which they were implemented, the purpose of this discussion is to explore their context, and what influence they might have on the sport, rather than argue about matters that can’t be changed.
