2022 Hungarian Grand Prix set for disruption and delays due to extreme weather

There is a possibility that qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix may have to be pushed back to race day depending on how bad the rain gets on Saturday. There is an 80 percent chance of rain for the start of the third and final practice session of the weekend on Saturday morning, and this is set to continue into qualifying, although there is a small chance that it could dry up in time to get qualifying underway. The weather front is moving north-east through Budapest at the moment, and there are risks of thunderstorms hitting the Hungaroring in the afternoon.
