Villeneuve questions Leclerc's title bid: He makes mistakes that he shouldn't

Article To news overview © XPB Jacques Villeneuve has questioned whether Charles Leclerc has what it takes to sustain a title challenge. The Ferrari driver had a strong start to the 2022 season and led the World Championship standings for several races. However, the lead changed hands after a strong run for Max Verstappen and Red Bull, while Leclerc and the Scuderia suffered reliability issues in Spain and Azerbaijan. There was also a pit-stop strategy problem in Monaco that caused Leclerc to slip from P1 to P4. At the Canadian Grand Prix, Leclerc was forced to start from P19 on the grid due to engine penalties, but worked his way up to fifth. He currently sits third in the championship...
