Pirelli confirm tyre choices for upcoming races with surprise in Austria
Article To news overview © RN365/Michael Potts Pirelli have announced the tyre compound choices that they'll be bringing to rounds 10, 11 and 12 of the 2022 Formula 1 World Championship. The Italian tyres manufacturers had already announced the tyres that would be used during the British Grand Prix weekend, next up on the calendar, but have now confirmed their choices for races in Austria, France and Hungary. And for Austria, Pirelli have opted for a surprise selection with a set far softer than before. Last season, the C2, C3 and C4 tyres were chosen for the Austrian Grand Prix but for 2022 teams will run the softest three tyres available, the C3, C4, and C5. That should spice up...
