An enthralling battle in the final 15 laps saw Verstappen fend off the advances of the chasing Ferrari to win by less than a second. Third place went to Lewis Hamilton, his first podium of the season, with George Russell fourth over Charles Leclerc, who raced from 19th following his power unit penalty.
