Sainz accepts situation in Monaco: 'It is how it is'

Carlos Sainz was working on his final fast lap of qualifying Saturday afternoon in Monaco when he suddenly collided with Sergio Perez. The Mexican was across the track, making it difficult for Sainz to avoid him. On the FIA press conference he let it be known that he was fed up with the situation. Since drivers on Monaco's street circuit have to deal with narrow roads and corners, a lot of yellow and red flags take place every year during qualifying and racing. Therefore, it was not for the first time for Sainz that he saw his fast lap end early.
