Verstappen honest: 'I think that Leclerc is too far ahead'

Max Verstappen has had an unfortunate qualifying session in Monaco. The Dutchman hoped to go for pole position prior to the race weekend, but eventually had to settle for a fourth starting position. In the press release from Red Bull Racing he clearly shows his dissatisfaction. His disappointing qualifying by no means came out of the blue. Verstappen has been having problems with the competition all weekend, finishing in fourth position in all three free practice sessions. The same happened in qualifying, which means he will start Sunday afternoon with Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz and Sergio Perez ahead of him.
